Make Salara yours

Choose the color used for the sparkle, highlights, and your next Home Screen icon.

Preset colors use a matching solid sparkle. Custom uses a gradient rainbow sparkle. If Salara is already on your Home Screen, remove and add it again to refresh the icon.

Salara’s personality

One Salara, everywhere: warm and familiar by default, honest and a little sharp when it fits, polished when the situation calls for it.

Choose a voice and tap Preview to hear a short sample. Each preview uses a small amount of OpenAI API credit.

Spoken replies use Salara’s shared voice profile. Voice generation uses OpenAI API credits.

    iPhone Home Screen

    A real Salara widget

    Apple only allows live Home Screen widgets through a native iPhone app with a WidgetKit extension. The installed Salara web app can have its own icon and app window, but it cannot place live tasks directly on the Home Screen.

    Capture to Salara

    Make a one-tap Shortcut that listens, then opens a task draft in Salara.

    1. Open Shortcuts on your iPhone, tap +, and name it Capture to Salara.
    2. Add Dictate Text.
    3. Add URL Encode and pass it the dictated text.
    4. Add a Text action. Type https://salara.space/#capture=, then insert the encoded text variable right after the equals sign.
    5. Add Open URLs and pass it the text from the previous action. Tap Done.

    Open Salara in Safari and sign in once before using the Shortcut. Dictation opens as a private synced draft; it does not create a task until you review it and tap Save.

    Sign in to Salara in Safari first. Your question is sent automatically and the answer opens in chat, saved with your existing synced conversation.

      Apple Music

      What Apple Music needs

      Apple Music uses MusicKit and a developer token signed with an Apple Music key. That setup needs an Apple Developer Program membership, currently listed at $99 USD per year. I have not started or approved any paid enrollment.

      Spotify is the working music path once its free developer app Client ID is configured. Apple Music can be added after you decide whether the Apple developer membership is worth it.
