- “Hey Salara” or “Hey Solara” is recognized locally on your computer. Both pronunciations wake the same Salara.
- After activation, your request recording is sent to OpenAI for transcription.
- The transcript goes through Salara’s existing chat, tools, saved tasks, reminders, and conversation history.
- Salara’s response is spoken through your selected speaker.
Room Mode won’t fall back to online wake-word recognition. If this browser can’t do on-device recognition, use Talk to Salara or try a supported browser. Input/output choices stay on this computer.
